Kingwood (Dalbergia Cearensis) is an exotic hardwood from Latin America ranging from Brazil to Mexico. It is a true Rosewood from the Dalbergia genus…the good stuff. It is named such because it was highly coveted by Louis XIV and Louis XV for use in their cabinetry and furniture. These knife racks are made by our friend Steve Preeg in Murietta, CA. Please Keep in mind that these are natural materials and although Steve works them to near perfection, natural materials have inclusions, blemishes, etc.
